I don't believe the Castrol ATF @ .19 you mention is a licensed Mercon LV product. Mag 1 licensed products can be found on Amazon. I've only noticed one thing that makes them different when looking over datasheets of fluid licensed as Mercon LV or doubly licensed as Mercon LV & Dexron VI versus fluids only licensed as Dex VI , the Mercon LV fluids have a Brookfield viscosity at -40C right around 10,000 cP where as the fluids that are Dex VI only are usually over . I had some DM chats with some well-respected members and it seems the consensus is the ULV is so thin to help mileage on startup, but also that the Mercon ULV (10R80 in my case) is a pretty darn good fluid in its own right; very shear stable and holds its .
